Principal Ruggles Welcomes You To LCC
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to La Costa Canyon High School (LCCHS), Home of the Mavericks. I am honored to be your principal and look forward to working with you as we continue to build on student achievement and prepare each student for success. I am looking forward to another great school year. The purpose of the letter is to welcome you to LCCHS and provide you with information regarding School Business Days.
At LCCHS, we are committed to building on a vision of student achievement where each student is connected to school through academics, clubs or extra-curricular activities. There are many ways to become connected and involved with LCCHS. Please take a moment to view our Program Guide to which includes programs and vision of LCCHS – an academic and extra-curricular powerhouse.
School Business Days allow for the opportunity to handle all registration paperwork conveniently. In addition to allowing you the chance to handle required paperwork, these days allow students the opportunity to purchase parking permits, pay for yearbooks, and take their mandatory LCCHS ASB card picture. School Business Days on the following dates:
Seniors – Tuesday, August 14
Juniors – Wednesday, August 15
Sophomores – Thursday, August 16

If you are unable to attend your assigned School Business Day, please attend a Business Day that follows your originally assigned date. If you cannot attend any of the School Business Days, you will need to report to a station in front of the marquee before school on Tuesday, August 28, the first day of school.
