LCCHS International Baccalaureate World School
LCCHS International Baccalaureate World School
On March 5, 2018, LCCHS received the official letter of authorization from International Baccalaureate and began to offer IB courses and the IB diploma for the 2018/2019 academic year. In June of 2020 we had our first co-hort of candidates graduate and earned their full IB diplomas! Our program continues to grow, and our candidates and course students are enjoying success!
As IBDP states, “As an IB World School offering the Diploma Programme, LCCHS is part of a global community of schools committed to developing knowledgeable, caring young people who will be ready to negotiate their futures successfully and make contributions resulting in a more harmonious and peaceful world.”

**Mission Statement from the IB The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
